In the Healbot gallery this week, we learn how a simple adventurer becomes a touch ranger!

I still plan on creating a desktop wallpaper, but color illustrations take time (gotta break out the cobwebbed watercolor brushes). Having a few color pieces might be good for tee-shirt production too!

At last, all the armor follows the same system of modification. Great news for players that wanted certain sets to have different properties. I logged on with my Tyrian ranger to give her studded leather the same energy bonus as the druid set. Monks received another style of tattoo armor, which eliminates the “Tarzan” loincloth look. Healbot doesn’t want to run for infusion again (or pay the cost in gold/vellum), so she will make do with her old star pattern. Might be time to farm those digested boots for insignias again!

In just a 13 month span, Healbot has been rofl’d at over 250,000 times! If I divide my unique visitors by the millions of chapter owners, I get just about 5 percent of the Guild Wars universe. This number may or may not include silent PvPers, Taxi Wammos, and that dude who only reads webcomics made with random clip art.

Anyway, time for a readership present. Suggested choices running through my head: Desktop Wallpaper. Special Omake to your favorite strip. “Ask-a-Healbot” day. Comic with a brand-new character. An update to something else on the site…

This week in the Mini - a snapshot of Healbot’s history (with henchies in particular). I was tempted to call this one Monster Cheats, given their amazing skills like Giant Stomp and underground movement. My mini-monk always ends up fighting; she could actually use adrenaline-based healing!

Healbot also turned 2 years old today…new pet was a Fire Imp.

Many times while in town I’ll try to help PuGs that are shy one healbot. Most are happy to have a space occupied by a live monk, and not hench. However, I lose my enthusiasm when, 2 seconds after being accepted, I’m asked to submit to “Skill Bar Inquisition”. Agreeing to do so means you can expect a demand to load your bar with 8 heals, or be kicked. The latter just happened to me after I had been toting one little fire buff while farming “Mark of Rodgort” style. I think the group had no idea how I could monk with only 4 healing prayers. Alas, they didn’t give the time to explain and likely ran the mission with dull Dunkoro. I think next time I’ll make a skill bar with every Rez I know…and call myself a janitor.

PS: I need some Roaring Ether Claws…buy/trade. They never drop for me.

Next to water I bet! The new comic is in regard to the old news about Russian language addition. Sadly, Healbot doesn’t know any non-Tyrian geography, but she does watch 80’s TV on VH1. Silly jokes aside, I’m glad to see all the links to this comic from far away places. I wish international travel was as simple as switching GW districts!

A “StarCrunch” is a cheap cookie made from rice crispies, chewy caramel, chocolate coating, and more preservatives than modern science can explain.

I thought I’d be clever and reserve a small advertisement zone to aid in expenses. Naturally, whatever crawler generates these clickable carrots made the ambiguous connection between my Healbot parody and folks that sell “Au” for dinero…
