The Observation Troll

Filed under: Comics & Games — labsenpai @ 4:41 pm

Essentially the same breed as the Forum Troll, this creature also deposits his girth next to a monitor, waiting to send his rubbery digits into a flurry of keyboard action. Observation trolls can respond to poorly executed skills within milliseconds, and determine which team will be PWND after a few flag raisings. However, research into how these trolls obtain such wisdom is hard to pursue. The shirty creatures are known to falsify personal data regarding guild membership and actual rank.

Speaking of guilds, I should find a helpful PvE organization for Healbot. All the additional GW content has distanced her from friends that don’t progress at the same pace.

  1. (Chuckle) I’ve seen them in Observer Mode. I think they just try to overawe the other observers with their knowledge, hoping no one who plays top 100 will pop into same session.

I would invite you to my guild, but we only seem to have three active members (including myself) and one of them is eight and soon to be absent for summer camping trips.

  2. My last guild was one I made for the few people I knew with copies of GW. However, I was the only player with “ascended” characters. They are the reason my Necro is only level 12…sigh.

  3. You can join FLK its a friendly pve guild, right now we mainly focus on domain of angush but we are active everywhere. Got around sixty members never does any gvg and is in alliance with seven other active pvp oriented guilds. Call Rogan Anser, Prospero Tempest, Ani Kirch,Lonly Abbot or Vampiric Element in game anytime. Or send me an email.

  4. Hey, Droknar’s Arena Dogs wouldn’t mind inviting you to our guild. We used to be guild of the week, and we’re pretty moderatly big. Check out our website and send a PM to one of our officers/leaders for an invite, hope you join! :D Note: Our website is http://www.droknarsarenadogs.com, though you probably already saw that.

  5. I’d extend an invite to Gamers Anonymous [FoW], but we’re just a small PvE guild that doesn’t have as much to offer as the above two. We are part of a fairly large alliance, however.

  6. [CIA] (Conlegium Ineptus Ambulo) would gladly invite you as well but I fear that our servers are too far apart :D (EU lag servers, I am assuming you are US I may be wrong)

Another healbot, especially the original would be a welcome member as we have just decalred an official monk strike :)

Guild specialities are arsing about, arsing about some more, playing GVG in no armour whatsoever but generally just buggering around in game…

We are going through a bit of a quiet patch as well, normally have about 10 active people online at any given time, and are picking up refugees from the other , now WoW orientated guilds that where in our alliance…

Oooh and last night, we even managed to get kicked off the guild ladder for doing so badly :)

If for some silly reason you are interested, pop us a message on the site listed

  7. Three cheers for tiny guilds focused on PvE!
Monsters might aggro, but they never hold a grudge afterward.
And no matter how many times you get a flawless victory in Random Arenas, the enemies will never drop items for you.

  8. Both my and my guildmate’s characters are all level 20 (except my necro who just made 16). We are both USA EST or GMT -4. We play at odd hours a lot, so if you see me, Darcy Sa Renn, or him, Turol Othter, on line give us a shout. And we have teamspeak.

  9. Ha! I love this comic! I haven’t watched any of the tournaments yet but now I plan to a little. Assassins are so cute when they’re fat!!

  10. I’ll make a separate post for “LFG” stuff, that way this topic can remain about ninja-troll-observers.

  11. Dude, when did you make that SNK poster on the back wall? Can we see a full-sized image of it? Please, for an SNK fan? ^_^

  12. The “Girls of SNK” painting was done in 2001, and remains unsold fanart. If you’re interested in purchasing, I’ll send you a pic ^_-

  13. Hehe, it was a pleasant surprise to see the SNK poster in the background. I could recognize Mai and Mary, but not sure who the other 2 were. King and Kasumi?

    Comment by aramdol — June 14, 2007 @ 6:06 pm

  14. Yes, King is the tall girl with short hair. I can’t remember the name of the 4th…
