No more Buttons to sell…

Filed under: Comics & Games, Site News — labsenpai @ 1:24 pm

I’ve sold the last complete set of Healbot Buttons, and there will not be a “second pressing”. My thanks to fans that decided to support me by purchasing them.

Commissions are now the priority; I’m having a busy late Summer but will try to complete outstanding requests later in the year.

Free Stacks of Hairballs for Everyone!

If you thought that time your fruitcakes and Losaru manes got jumbled was bad…

Upcoming Healbot comic posts will take place after the release of GW:EN. I need a few days to upgrade the gallery, making room for the new series of adventures and such. Obviously, I’ll be creeping away from the drawing table to play the game more too!

NCSoft has Runners…

Filed under: Comics & Games — labsenpai @ 9:20 am

Took a quick peek at Dungeon Runners on a friend’s PC the other day; it had some interesting qualities. Specifically, I liked the spoofing of in-game descriptions for items. I don’t think I’d pay for membership with GW already on my plate.

Oh, and I received the August NCSoft newsletter today, announcing that they are at the Indy GENCON right now…literally. I guess Arenanet only wanted to mention PAX. Regardless, I couldn’t have escaped my work schedule anyways *grabs keys and Dew*

Those ashes look heavy to me…

Filed under: Comics & Games — labsenpai @ 3:35 pm

I was planning another Ranger Brained mini, but I had to make a joke about the latest skill nerf. Considering that many of the elementalist “spike” spells incur exhaustion, I don’t think another class’ skills should be an unmitigated substitute of the same caliber. I’ve never played a Ritualist myself; blame that on PuGs only wanting Minion “summoners” and the goofy faces female rits have to choose from.

Side notes: This blog was mentioned on the GW site last week! My apologies to visitors expecting communications from Healbot herself. I don’t think anyone really wants to hear her rant about doing laundry at Bergen Hot Springs.

An upcoming GuildCast Podcast will feature some Q&A about this fansite.

New Art on Bio Page

Just finished a small commission featuring a daydreaming Necromancer. Those pale girls can get that way if there aren’t enough corpses around ^__^

You’re just a healbot that laughs at death!

Filed under: Comics & Games — labsenpai @ 8:54 pm

I don’t think I’ll need to tell anyone which movie the new Mini is referencing…

Factoid: Healbot’s favorite movie of all time is actually KRULL. One would think it was LOTR, but she says halflings couldn’t possibly beat a cave troll without Protective Spirit.

Weh no Su? Me too!

Filed under: Comics & Games — labsenpai @ 11:19 am

With Healbot in good shape for GW:EN, I’m playing my other lvl 20’s to bring them along a little more. My Ele, Orixa, is the second to run through the primary missions in Factions. I’m glad I can now play around with her secondary classes. I’ve been surprised by how effective nukers are even without Elites (only Double Dragon capped currently). She does fine with Earth armor and AoE fire.

My warrior girl is in satisfactory shape, although her gear is pretty plain. I don’t think I’ll be going back to my Ranger, who is at a dead stop in the Ring of Fire. My Necro…well, level twelve and 2 years old, sigh.
