Monks need tumble…

Filed under: Comics & Games — labsenpai @ 5:53 pm

New EotN comic uploaded!

Snowball barrage turrets, flamethrowers, enormous boulders of doom - I think it is time for crouching and jumping skills. Healbot feels like she has to switch to maintained enchantments, just so she can still do something while hiding from traps. I’m sure the Wammos would love %100 bonding, so they can have even more fun. For once, I’d like to blow up dungeon walls and fight the Bosses! I blame the hench healers (cough..Mhenlo) for still being sad sacks.

  1. Those darts are a pain, their rate of fire just keeps increasing :(.

The ice ones are just plain annoying as well, and the boulders have claimed my life on several occasions. Easiest way to avoid boulders:
    Send Koss in First.
    Send Vekk in First.
Send your best friend in to scout the area! :D

  2. Acctualy, I was just taking my necro, Kalle Damos, though the Volexn excavation, and when the boulder comes, your character shouts “run for your life!” well before it hits, giving you ample time to run against a wall.

  3. Well, if you don’t expect it it’s hard to know where to run for your life…

  4. I’ve found that as soon as your character says to run for your life, the boulder can actually fall right in front of you. It happened to me the first time my character said that. You might just have to run a bit backwards.

  5. I find it hi-larious that Heroes dodge enemies but will stand in/near environmental traps till death. I guess it has been that way since the start though. I just finished Arachne’s Lair, watching them choke on poison gas and getting obliterated by flaming rocks.

  6. “For once, I’d like to blow up dungeon walls and fight the Bosses!” - You can! Do the Shards of Orr dungeon with a group of 8 monks. Six smiting monks blasting away with large amounts of AoE, armor-ignoring holy damage owns all of the undead in there. Most groups of enemies die before they can do anything.

  7. Agree with wizardboy.

I did it with 4 smitemonks all with signet of judgement, mantra of inscriptions and 2 more smite signets (lost their name ftm). IT’s actually funny to do this dungoen… about as quick as a freezie dungeon run. Only the boss gave me some problems… need to add pain inverter to my bar (he uses Feast of Corruption :D )

  8. I haven’t done Shards yet, but I plan to bring some smiting. I don’t know enough people with GW:EN monks to form an entire team. Jokanur Diggings HM is good practice for smitebots too.

  10. Are you asking me (the artist) what my IGN is?

PS: Shards is not easy- with Heroes. I gave up when all of them had 60 DP by lvl 3.

  11. Problem with Shards? Use teh Smites! 3x smite heroes + 2x monk henches + you smiter/tanker/nuker/whatever + something to support.
