Non-Visitors to my Non-Booth
I’m back from my little gamer excursion, where I managed to impress about 2.5 persons…which ranks me in notoriety below the creepy hobo who wears a plumed pirate hat to every event. I did not meet anyone identifying themselves as a GW player. Healbot felt excluded and had to seek comfort in her new glow-in-the-dark gaming dice.
This page has pictures of a website promotional sign and a marker sketch done to announce a contest being held. Next year its GENCON or bust!
Would have been there if not for the costs with flying in from Holland ;).

I think I could’ve used some Anet sponsorship - maybe a few computers to display the game, T shirts, a life-size Eve standee for myself *cough*
Still, being able to “talk shop” with peers in the Fantasy art field is always good. I think next year the creation of new portfolio art will be more important than web comic updates.

Yeah, a little ANet sponsorship would have helped you a lot - lifesize cutouts of Eve and Livia would have drawn them in. Or picture male reaction to a lifesize Jora.
Regretfully, I live no where near that area. If you ever do a show in the New England area, I’ll be there.

If you do make it to GENCON you have to let us know. Maybe I’ll actually be able to make it there next year. A few hours on the road is not too bad.

Yeah, I was creating a generic “Elmore” chick. His ladies are almost always in partial plate mail, sporting big 1980’s hair. I even added a dragon flying over the castle after I took the photo…
I think I’ll let Healbot draw the next comic, she needs the practice. Stay tuned!

The event was fairly insignificant, no where near 1000+ attendees.
SURE! I’d like any campaign material with the “Ladies of GW” on it! Since I have the NF Dervish poster though, a print with Jora, Eve, or Nika would be scrumptious!
