Secret Comic Time! Roll to search…

Filed under: Comics & Games — labsenpai @ 12:30 pm

My research into some classic d20 material prompted me to make a new spoofy comic. You can see it, if you know the following: Long before places like Baldur’s Gate, what was the famous city where Gary Gygax’s characters would hang out?

Once you know the keyword, type it in lowercase as follows - www.crithitcomics.com/________.htm to make the link!

Don’t cough up the answer in a comment…I’ll post it after a while.

  4. Indeed, I had overlooked the canon physical description of a Dark Elf. At least it was a coloring error instead of a drawing flub. :)

  9. Got it and *highly* amused. BlackRazor lay waste to many PCs & campaigns! Nice job.

  11. I just wish I still had the old box set & world map. A new map was issued in DUNGEON magazine, but I only have one of the 4 sections so far.

  12. Ohhhh my, and I thought the Elonian elementalist fashions were risqué…

Labsenpai, when you get the other three sections of the map, are you off to find the lost treasure of an ancient Dwarven King? =)

  14. Nothing says classy decor like a giant hex map, hehe!
The jokes are for gamers that still remember long-abandoned arcana. Thanks to the internet, greedy publishers can’t bury every RPG they don’t want to support. Homebrew projects and web connections let the creativity live on.

  16. Meh. Still not as funny as healbot comics…

  17. Got it first time too. 17 years of playing D&D FTW. Compared to that tricksy secret page of Mielle’s portrait, this was a pushover.

And I’m betting the REAL reason that wizard wanted to cast Otto’s Irresistable Dance was so he would have a reason to “touch” the Dark Elf. XD

  21. The answer is “greyhawk”. Blackrazor is a soul-sucking sword from module S2 - White Plume Mountain. Grummsh is a deity of the Orc tribes. Drow ladies have really high Charisma…
